Lip Neutralization

LIP NEUTRALIZATION

Balanced. Even. Refined.

What Is Lip Neutralization?

Lip Neutralization is a permanent makeup treatment designed to help balance cool, dark, uneven, or discolored lip tones. Carefully selected corrective pigments are used to soften unwanted undertones and create a more even-looking base before the final lip color develops.

Who Is Lip Neutralization For?

Lip Neutralization is ideal for clients with naturally darker, cool-toned, uneven, or hyperpigmented lips who want a more balanced and harmonious lip tone. The treatment is customized to each client’s natural pigmentation and desired result.

What to Expect During Your Lip Neutralization Appointment?

Your appointment begins with a consultation and evaluation of your natural lip tone. Corrective pigment is selected based on the undertones present in your lips. The pigment is then gradually applied using a permanent makeup device to help neutralize unwanted tones while maintaining a natural-looking result.

How to Prepare for Lip Neutralization?

Keep your lips well moisturized before your appointment and avoid irritation or aggressive exfoliation. Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine beforehand. If you have a history of cold sores, tell your artist before treatment, as lip procedures may trigger an outbreak.

Lip Neutralization Aftercare

Keep the lips clean and moisturized with the recommended aftercare product. Avoid picking or peeling flaking skin and limit spicy, acidic, or very hot foods during early healing. Protect the lips from excessive sun exposure.

Healing, Results & Longevity

Immediately after treatment, the lips may appear brighter, warmer, or more intense than the final result. Color changes during healing are normal, and the pigment gradually settles over several weeks. Lip Neutralization often requires more than one session, especially when correcting deeper or uneven pigmentation. Results and longevity vary depending on natural lip tone, skin characteristics, lifestyle, and pigment retention.
